Twenty years of tinkering, then the hard part

The magic system behind Runeforged Realms has been rattling around in my head for about twenty years. I finally stopped tinkering and started writing. Turns out that was the hard part.

When I'm not writing, I'm gaming, hanging out with my wife and son, or listening to audiobooks while pretending to do housework. Our dog has made it into at least one story. He doesn't know he's famous.

Opposite ends of the same obsession

Hard-hitting Progression / Non-System LitRPG on one hand, cozy support-focused LitRPG on the other. They're total opposites, and that's exactly why I write both. Magic systems that follow rules. Characters who earn their power and make terrible decisions along the way. Fight scenes that hit hard and quiet moments that hit harder.
